This blog serves as a garden, and in gardens one plants things and then watches them bloom. Be they flowers, vegetables or shrubbery. No one keeps a garden and hopes that it will be barren and not everyone is a fantastic gardener. This is my real garden. I have one in the real world, it even has a few flowers that have survived my inability to understand growing things and now and again plays host to potatoes and tomatoes, but it is not like this one.
Here I hope to plant ideas, or snippets, and some of them may well germinate and take hold. Some may grow, others will need fertiliser and still more will simply fail. Like all gardens there is an aspect of the experimental here at play.
Unlike most gardens, I do encourage others to help with the tending of ideas. I hope that people will feel that they are able to post comments when my ideas are planted and that they feel moved to say things, even if it is just that the flowers are the wrong colour or that they are actually weeds and should be pulled up or abandoned. Perhaps people will notice where I am using the wrong soil or tending the plant in the wrong way and suggest pruning and grafting in ways that I would never have spotted on my own.
I am creative, I therefore crave feedback, but I recognise that most people are rather busy and have their own needs and wants. Also, unless there are ideas on which to comment there will be no commentary no matter how much people would be willing to say anything. I hope that the ideas I plant here will grown and fruit and flower and that others might be willing to share their thoughts. When the ideas come, this will be the place to plant them.
